A Jose Andres Restaurant Tour of DC!

Today Partyista stopped by all of Jose Andres’ restaurants of the ThinkFoodGroup to report back to you about all of the amazing spaces the restaurants provide for private and semi-private events.

First, check out Oyamel. They have this private room for 40 guests.

Or you could head over to Jaleo where you could reserve part of the bar or a section of the restaurant for a semi-private party.

If that cactus couch does not float your boat, then you could move your crew on over to Zaytinya.

The Carnegie Institution for Science

This place will blind you with awesomeness. Check out the huge entrance (aka your dance floor) or the area that will fit 150 for dinner. And that room off to the side! And the staircase!

The Flying Bridge

The Flying Bridge is the newest roofdeck in town. Over 200 could have a seated dinner up here or 400 could have a reception. Everyone in the city should get up here to celebrate this view.

The Sphinx Club

Um, let’s talk about The Sphinx Club. First of all, it is awesome. Second of all, it is huge. Third, it is in the middle of the city - 14th and K St NW - and yet a lot of people don’t even know about that place. Well that’s just crazy cause look at this place. Now you know.

Beuchert’s Saloon

Well this place used to be a female run speak easy that was hidden behind a Singer sewing machine shop so really they had me at female run speakeasy plus sewing. Even for those of us who don’t love sewing machines, maybe you love awesomeness. Or buffalo heads. Or just a really cool vibe cause this place has it. You could hold a private-ish event in the back with 30 or so friends standing or you could rent out the whole place for a bigger bash.
